About Us

My name is Dale, prior to becoming a driving instructor in Kent, I was a London Traffic Police Officer (Sergeant) for over 22 years, with the last 3 years of my service teaching high speed pursuit. My main aim as a driving instructor in Thanet is to teach you to drive to standards above the DSA recommended training level.

I've seen a lot of my pupils pass their test in the 15 years that I've been a driving instructor in Kent. My 1st time pass rate is 85% and I believe that you are capable of learning to drive and can pass your driving test first time, no matter what sort of person you are.

Useful Info

You can apply for your Provisional Licence 1 month before you start driving. You'll need to include your present address details on the form. Should you move at any time after you've received your licence, be sure to inform the DVLA of this change as soon as possible, as failure to do so could lead to a maximum fine of £1000.

Once you've passed your Theory Test, you then have 2 years in which to pass your Driving Test. Having passed the 40 minute driving exam you have the option of placing green P plates on your car. This will indicate to other motorists that you've not been driving long and are still a novice.
